Our Home Charging Team—consisting of auditors and technicians—works closely with our Customer Support team to guide drivers through every step of the process, from initial request to a fully operational installation.
What does infrastructure work include?
Infrastructure work involves all the necessary technical preparations required to install a charging station at a private residence. This includes:
Cabling and connections
Installing a power cable from the electrical panel to the charging station location, including any trenching or wall penetrations if needed.
Electrical provisions
Inspecting and, if necessary, upgrading the electrical panel and safety components to ensure a secure and reliable operation.
Study and consultation
Conducting a technical assessment to determine required modifications and the optimal charging solution for your home.
Installation readiness
Once the infrastructure is in place, the charging station can be easily installed and connected.
Key considerations
- Ownership of the installation – The wiring and technical modifications become an integral part of your home and remain your property. As a result, infrastructure work cannot be included in the MobilityPlus EV Charging eXperience Home subscription.
- Future-proof charging – We consider both your current and future charging needs, ensuring that your home is prepared for potential expansions or increased charging capacity
